Save Money On Christmas Presents – Ditch The Wrapping Paper & Other Extras
This is my own recommendation. It might not be for everyone, and it might even divide the sexes! However, I devote all of my funds to the present and nothing else. I use the cheapest wrapping paper I can find, skip the gift tags, and focus solely on the item itself. After all, the rest of it is destined for the trash!

If you are well organised, your money will go a long way. If you notice a gift that is drastically discounted and would make a wonderful gift for a long time, it might be worth getting it now and saving it until you are ready to give it out. Also, if you have a certain gift in mind for someone, think about whether it would be cheaper at different times of the year. Some things are only available during certain seasons, and their prices vary greatly. Of course, there are sales, especially during the holidays, where you can find infinite bargains for the coming year.

It’s that simple. Because it seems many people have lost track of what Christmas is about. And it should not be about spending as much money as possible. It does not have to bankrupt you. It does not have to be about excess and gluttony.
This is a critical issue for me. Do not be scared, or embarrassed, to discuss a limit on how much you spend on each other with your friends. Nobody will be offended by the way you’ve tackled the matter. A hat also allows you to give greater thought to your gifts – think of it as a challenge! People make a wide range of incomes, therefore we can’t expect everyone to have the same gift budget. You can even forego gifts entirely and instead request an anonymous charitable donation. We all enjoy receiving gifts, but there are more essential things in life than receiving gifts.
Work The System
Got loyalty points on your Nectar card? Can you get cashback if you buy your item via a site like Quidco? Do your research and see what you can get back from your purchases, or if you can get them for less using what you already have? Work the system. Hunt out bargains, sale items, use price comparison sites and buy in bulk too if that helps. Use every voucher you have.
